Recently Maxim Magazine published a list of the top 20 hottest poker celebrities. Of course Patrik Antonius wasn’t on the list. Even cute and clean cut Phil Ivey wasn’t there. Maxim believes the 20 hottest celebs are all women.  Well, for Maxim’s audience the probably are.  So I’ve decided to compile my own list of hot dudes of poker and blog about a couple every now and then.  So, I’ll start with Patrik and Phil.

Patrik and Phil both rock the buzz cut hair style.  But while Phil tries to manage the serious poker face, he always looks like he’s half a second away from a smile. Patrik however has mastered the look and it adds to his hotness factor. 

Patrik Antonius is from Finland and is a former model (why am I not surprised to find that out).  He started playing poker in 2002 and has earned millions during his career. He consistently finishes in the money at the World Series of Poker, though he’s yet to when the bracelet. He’s a seasoned pro when it comes to poker and one of the players the younger guys want to go up against.  And they get their chances on Full Tilt Poker, the site Patrik plays online at. 

Phil Ivey was born in California but raised in New Jersey, not far from Atlantic City. Perhaps this has something to do with his young desire to be a poker player.  Phil won his first World Series of Poker bracelet in 2000 at the age of 23 and currently has total of 7 WSOP bracelets and over 10 million in career winnings.  Ivey has always said he’s focused on being the world’s best poker player, and that goal shows.  If you want to challenge him in a game of poker, he also plays on Full Tilt Poker and will be glad to take some of your money.
