Carbon Poker Review
Banking: NETeller, InstaCash, Click2Pay, MasterCard, VISA, Citadel, Wire Transfer OpponentsThis is where Carbon Poker proves that it’s a force to be reckoned
with. They sport a large number of new players who will be easy to beat.
Since changing their name recently, though, they've lost a significant
amount of their player base, and as such it's much harder to find a good
game. Despite this, most of the players are very loose and tend to
be new to the game. This is a great poker room to make some money at. Game SelectionCarbon Poker takes a little step back here from other popular poker rooms,
as it only offers two different poker games: Texas Holdem and Omaha Hi.
However, all of their limit, no limit, and pot limit games are usually
well populated. They also claim that additional games are in development
and will be playable soon. Their limits range from $.02/.04 to $30/60,
so you get a good variety there. When all is said and done, the only thing
they’re really lacking is 7 Card Stud, but that’s definitely
a strike against them. Rewards/Bonuses/JackpotsThey have a terrific first time deposit bonus of 200%, up to $500. This
is well above the industry standard, and it’s given out at a very generous
rate of $1 for every 10 raked hands. Their raking structure is also
very generous and is much fairer to the player than other online poker
rooms are. They do offer redeposit bonuses on occasion, and they do
a very good job of giving you incentives to keep on playing. They do
not currently have a jackpot. TournamentsCarbon Poker takes their tournaments to the next level. First of all, if
you’re interested in playing in some freerolls, this is the best
site online for them. They put over $5000 into their freerolls each day.
They can be as low as $100 freerolls that have no requirements to join,
or up to $3000 that requires you to play a certain amount of raked hands.
Their standard tournaments are also well done, although they don’t
offer as many tournaments for Omaha as they do Texas Holdem. Overall,
if you enjoy poker freerolls, there’s no place better than Carbon Poker. Customer SupportThe customer support at Carbon Poker is simply amazing. Like most poker
rooms these days, they don’t offer phone support, but their email
support staff is top-notch. Most questions have been answered within 15
minutes of sending an email. Their depositing and withdrawing has become
a painful experience with the new US legislature, and they don't seem
to have a fix for the NETeller issue. It still gets done, though, albeit
slower than most rooms.
